Christ and The Kingdom

Ask yourself these questions, when you think Christ and the Kingdom,

what does it mean to you?
What does it mean to this world?
What does it mean to God?

When your buttering your toast, clearing the sleepy dust out from your eyes and putting a pot of coffee on first thing in the morning, what bearing does Christ and the Kingdom have upon the day your about to enter?

It means everything..

It wasn’t a system that Jesus brought to earth, it wasn’t a new program, or cool music ideas it was himself and kingdom living.

He didn’t need to speak about the kingdom, though he did, for his life conveyed the Kingdom

You see, they are one in the same, where Christ is, there is the kingdom, where the kingdom is seen, there is Christ.

But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things will be give to you - Matthew 6:33

Seek the Kingdom first?, What is the kingdom?

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17

Jesus is righteousness, peace and joy, all of this comes from him, he is the source the centre of all things, so when you are seeking the kingdom, it is not a search for righteousness but for the righteous one, its not a search for peace, its a search for the prince of peace.

What bearing does this have?

It was the heart of the message Jesus came to bring, and it is the heart of the message we are to bring..

It’s not about getting people to church, it is about introducing them to the King, it is about teaching them to seek the King

Everyone has heard the prayer

” Your Kingdom Come, Your Will be Done on earth as it is in heaven ” -Matt 6;10

What an incredible insight and teaching from Jesus himself. Simply ” You, Our King and Your Dominion come, and all that you are and all that you desire be made known here on earth as it is currently happening right now in heaven

This means the Dominion of our King and his will can be experienced now. It is the heart beat and core message to be made known and experienced.

When everything is done, it wont be a system, a large building, or a song that will be the centre of it all, it will be Christ and his Kingdom, so share christ not a system, a program, or a meeting, share the king and let everything be built and established upon love.
