Lets say that I am a stage magician with a new trick, I presuambly die on a crucifix, get buried for three days, and then rise from my grave.
If the trick was good enough people would believe it to be real (just look at UFO fanatics, conspiracy theorists, cryptozoologists, etc).
And especially in a time like then, when people had barely any knowledge of how the universe worked, people would think i was magic, or maybe perhaps, the son of a god.
Don't believe me? take a good look at scientology. The guy who made it up made something like a million dollars.
Hiya Zonbi.

Take a look at Saul/Paul's conversion. It goes a fair bit beyond parlour tricks. Also bear in mind Saul's position in Jewish society prior to his conversion; it makes his conversion even more remarkable.

I think you might just find it illuminating, bud.
