I'm not sure what Bible interpretation you are using for this verse. Let me post the same verse from several different interpretations:

(Joh 17:11 YLT) "and no more am I in the world, and these are in the world, and I come unto Thee. Holy Father, keep them in Thy name, whom Thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we;"

(Joh 17:11 ASV) "And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are."

(Joh 17:11 DRB) "And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou hast given me: that they may be one, as we also are."

(Joh 17:11 KJV) "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are."

As You can see, there is something different in these translations from the one you posted. Essentially, I am of the belief that this verse is Jesus' prayer that all people that have been given to Him shall also become one with God. The Orthodox...and some Catholics call this "Theosis".

As a side note, I would like to point out who exactly it was that was given to Jesus.

(Joh 3:35) The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

(1Ti 4:10-11) For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe. (11) These things command and teach.

(Rom 11:36) For of him, and through him, and unto him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.

Think about that.
Jesus is the Savior of all who have been given to Him.
Who has been given to Him?

Blessings
