Default Tares and Wheat

What do y'all see as Jesus meaning in these verses in Matthew 13?

36Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field." 37And He said, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40"So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41"The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43"Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Jesus said the field is the world......although most believers and probably all unbelievers wouldn't agree, I believe Jesus is saying that he has planted the good seed (HIM!) in the heart of every person.

I think the previous parable shows us why it is hidden from them....

"Hear then the parable of the sower.

"When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.

"The one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away.

"And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Back to the wheat/tares parable, Jesus explained:

and the tares are the sons of the evil one;

In the parable he said:

"But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also."The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, `Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'"And he said to them, `An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, `Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'"But he said, `No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them.

The field is the world (Christ is the owner)...Christ, the good seed, is planted in every heart....the adversary has planted his poisonous seed in the owner's field.

More later....got chores to do.

Hey Jon---I think what taffy means is that we can only insert 4 emoticons in our posts. Whenever we have more than 4, we get a message that only 4 is allowed.

I second his e-motion but I think 5 isn't quite enough.

Now I need to get dinner on the table.

Hi Grace, Lol Thats what Imeant..being able to ADD more smilies to posts

Did this earlier today...just never got around to posting it...

Until we understand the the Mystery of the ages IS Christ who is the kingdom of Heaven\God Hidden in the hearts of Men..parables will never be grasped.

Mar 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables:

Mar 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them.
Mar 4:13 ¶ And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

Christ USED the pharisees as the Prime example for ALL of US...who were Truly Blinded to the ONE who was In their midst but didnt perceive HIM.

The wheat and Tares are In every man..Christ is the WORD sown but can not be understood until these tares within us are burnt in Bundles.

what are Tares no more than words\lies and sins which are adverse to the TRUTH = HIM

Hbr 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

Hbr 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned

The flesh of all men is this rebelious HOUSE.

Eze 2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they [are] a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Eze 2:6 ¶ And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns [be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be] a rebellious house.

THE end OF THE AGE comes to everyman...we move from age TO age,FROM THE AGE OF A CHILD TO THAT OF A SON ..THE AGE OF darkness and death WHICH IS past TO WALK in THE new AGE WALKING iN THE DAY of LIGHT AND LIFE.

All flesh( the wood hay and stubble) needs to be consumed but we are saved thro the Fire

1Cr 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

What remains is Christ in us and US in HIM

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43"Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

THE end OF THE AGE IS TWOFOLD ..MEANING THE END TO EACH OF US WHEN HE RETURN AS A THIEF IN THE night TO RECLAIM HIS THRONE IN THE TEMPLE MADE WITHOUT hands but also the end of the age of the ministry of DEATH which happened at The cross, then HE will send His angels which are messengers as was PAUL..THE MINISTERS of fire.....

Hbr 1:5 ¶ For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Hbr 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hbr 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Hbr 1:8 But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.

to throw Them in the furnace of fire......Christ is this FIRE.

Isa 31:9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire [is] in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

By FAITH one is NOT hurt in this fire..by faith HE is revealed

Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Dan 3:26 ¶ Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, [and] spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come [hither]. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Dan 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Dan 3:28 [Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God
