John Grisham Thought I'd try to broaden my horizons since my nose is normally stuck in a Mills & Boon

I quite like his books so far, although the legal speak can sometimes do my head in....especially if I'm reading at night before I go to sleep.

I'm in the midst of reading a book that sort of goes against what I currently believe (I tend to do this for some reason). It's called "Forbidden Archeology" It's pretty interesting, because it goes against the mainstream academic view of evolution. It's not about Intelligent Design as we know it. Anyway, I like to keep an open mind about things, so I'm reading it to see what evidence they are using to support their theory that Homo Sapien Sapien is much older than 200,000 yrs old. It is fascinating, and when I'm done with it, if I get time, I will see about checking out the evidence they present. So far, I still believe Darwinism is correct, but my mind is open.

I do realize of course that the author is Hindu, or at least believes the Vedas are correct in their origin myths, so I am reading it with that prejudice in mind. I'm more interested in the evidence itself, and why it has been forgotten/explained away.

Blessings

Someday
