Default Star Jones Leaving the View - fired? Babara walters?

I know.. .. but i had to find some of this interesting.. for those who dont know in the usa their is the tv show called The View run by ABC and headed up by barbara walters.. for years the show has been on the air over 9 years now..

Star Jones has always been part of it.. anyway well she was let go recently and well plastered over magazines and tv is why she was let go, star fighting back, babara walters giving her bit as well.. its turned into a right media fest.

Interesting angle i want to bring to it, to get you thinking is.. How we deal with conflict, when things dont go our way, or we are let down by the people we trusted?

ever encountered that? lets talk about it, share your stories.

I used to watch The View, but I don't any longer--and I particularly will go out of my way to avoid it when Rosie O'Donnell joins the group. I feel that Star Jones is way over the top with this one and has gone out of her way to hurt the other members of the cast. Barbara Walters told her to "go out on her own terms," foolishly believing that Jones would behave with dignity and respect instead of behaving like a charwoman. That's just my take on it, but I seriously wonder what would move a person to do something like that.

My worst betrayal came when my husband (Holly's Dad) left me for a woman that he met online. I was getting my bachelor's degree at the time and was overloaded in my last semester (taking 6 courses instead of 5 because of an administrative error earlier in my junior year). He wanted to be with someone else because he was "lonely" and because "a man has needs."

I couldn't fall apart, because I had too much to do for school. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, took the summer to recover from surgery, finished my master's degree (from an accelerated program with my undergraduate degree), went on to get a decent job, and am now buying a house. He's on his third girlfriend and still living in a trailer park.

Sometimes the best revenge is living well.

ha ha ha - sorry, but the way you tell it, it made me laugh; and sometimes there does seem to be instant justice. good for you!
Although I am sure that it is not after quite some pain, hurt and disappointment that you summarize it like this.
I hope by the grace of God you will come out of it totally restored and whole with blessings you have not thought or asked for yet.

Hi Hollysmum, I am glad you are pulling through your ordeal. It was also good that you left everything in God's control. He is the Judge! Good for you that you got through so many exams AND got a house.
A few years ago I was accused of trying to pull a ministry apart. It hurt so bad and I truly wanted revenge. One day the Lord spoke to me and told ME to go to the person who made all the accusations and say sorry! Man, did I fight God on that one! Me? Apologize to someone whose fault it all was? No way! But I did eventually go and see him. After this I had full peace and my new ministry took off. A year later the truth was revealed in the former ministry, but no apologies came to me. It did not bother me as I had had peace and God took care of everything.
