Default Explosian levels New York Building
An explosion rocked the lower East Side of Manhatten this morning, leveling a 4 story building.

Rumors and speculation still swirl around the cause, although the NY Fire commissioner says it appears to be caused by a gas leak. Further specualtion surrounds the doctor who owned the building, Nicholas Bartha, as it appears he may have been attempting suicide.

There have been terrorist threats in NYC lately--I wonder if this bombing might be related?

The thing that struck me the most was the neighborhood seemed to be predominatly Jewish
