Jon, good to read your thoughts. It must be quite an experience for you going through all the changes that you've had. And not entirely pleasant either, finding yourself disagreeing with so many of your old friends (and family). I hope this forum keeps going - it may evolve into something different and maybe some of the regulars will take over for you. Maybe even some of the atheists - 'In the Pursuit Of God' could be taken as an atheist site...

I've just gone over to have a look at OCP and have registered there. I'm not sure how much I'll post as there seems to be no Debate or Discussion sections. I'm not sure how much of a philosophical discussion I'm going to get out of threads such as 'Do pets go to Heaven?' (WTF?). But I've seen Gray posting there reasonably frequently and crossing swords with Jeff (who seems to post there even more than he posted here, if that's physically possible).

Any bets on how long I last before I'm zapped?

I've seen you and you seem to be making a few of them scramble it's amusing to watch at the very least. I joined that site awhile back and I never even posted. I couldnt. Every message I tried to type was so insulting that I knew it'd never even make it to the board, so I didn't bother. It's hard for me to keep a civil tongue in my head around fundies anymore
