In truth we all know that any video game that has violence is not good. We are told to stay away from evil. Talking about games, when I was a non-believer I used to play poker and many times won a fortune. It reminds me of a funny incident when I was playing all night. Whilst the other participants were drinking heavily I stayed sober and just watched their eyes light up when they had good hands. I won a fortune, but hid the money in my socks, down my pants, and everywhere else in case I got robbed. Then I drove home and watched my wife laughing hilariously as I pulled out all the money!
Today I do not play anymore, as it is not a game from God!

Fortunately, that's what online poker is for when ever the desire arrises. I haven't played poker in a very long time though. But I prefer online than in person.

The very fact there is sex and violence should turn any Christian off.

I agree that Grand Theft Auto is definitely not something that Christians should play.

Jeff mentioned Christian games on the previous page, has anyone here played Left Behind : Eternal Forces. If so, what did you think of it? I downloaded the demo awhile back but the graphics were messed up on my computer so I hardly played it.

I saw it advertized in the Charisma Magazine and am curious to hear from anyone who has played it. It is pretty new.

As bad as this game is, I guess its ok for someone who knows reality from fiction. Also I must disagree with if you kill a video game pixel, that it's the same as actually commiting it. In my opinion despite the stupidity and downgrade of these type of videogames, I'd much rather see people killing polygons than peopke killing people.
