Zonbi/James... You want to read the Bible to find amo against Christians? I thought you were more honest than that. Shouldn't you read the Bible to find out more about it?
If we're wrong, that's fine, you have nothing to fear. If we're right, don't you have the courage to look at the evidence for yourself, without sneering or hiding behind bravado? If you are interested, James was one of Jesus' brothers, and he didn't believe Jesus was the Messiah, until he saw Him rise from the dead. It changed his life. He stood up and preached the truth in Jerusalem, until eventually he was stoned to death. Why would somebody risk such a horrible death for a lie? |

Why would he risk such a horrible death for a lie? well if it was then he probably didn't know.
Lets say that I am a stage magician with a new trick, I presuambly die on a crucifix, get buried for three days, and then rise from my grave. If the trick was good enough people would believe it to be real (just look at UFO fanatics, conspiracy theorists, cryptozoologists, etc). And especially in a time like then, when people had barely any knowledge of how the universe worked, people would think i was magic, or maybe perhaps, the son of a god. Don't believe me? take a good look at scientology. The guy who made it up made something like a million dollars. |

You need to read some of the eye witness accounts. Try John, the last survivor of the Apostles. There is a scientific detail in his account that only started to make sense in the eighteenth century, when forensic science came to the fore. You need to read his account of the crucifixion... Have a read of it, then tell us what you think. I'll see if you pick up on the forensics. Only an eyewitness could have recorded it. It both fulfils prophecy, and proves that Jesus died.
I'm sure when you read it you'll realise what I'm referring to. When you've got it, we'll talk about what it means. See you later. |

My worry about this subject is that the world has serioulsy taken a dip in form if there are games out there that encourages the player to kill, use prostitutes, beat people up etc FOR FUN!!! The Bible teaches love and peace, the violence in the Bible is partly a historical record and certainly does not encourage any violence whatsoever.
Dave please dont blaspheme, don't think Jesus would appreciate being compared to a Zombie. God Bless |

Take a look at Saul/Paul's conversion. It goes a fair bit beyond parlour tricks. Also bear in mind Saul's position in Jewish society prior to his conversion; it makes his conversion even more remarkable. I think you might just find it illuminating, bud.

I'll proberly get some neg. feedback, but if we can't share our own views without ridicule then who's being Christian like. I think war games are great to play. I don't play these games to get anger out or the need to kill, I enjoy them.
I like to test my own skill level with other players on the net. Lets get real they are only games. No matter what you do in life it will always upset someone. I've got the solution lets all sit on our own somewhere in the lake district and do nothing. Guy's I'm sick to death of all this. Since I've become a Christian, I've come to realize that the biggest hypogrites and the worst for being judgemental are Christians. Wise up the lot of ya and catch a grip. I've seen people who are suffering from addiction made to feel worthless and destroyed by other Christians. Shot me down if you want, but I answer to Jesus and Jesus alone not man. If I'm going to burn in hell for playing games, then question is, is God so caring and loving. I know he is and he knows whats in our hearts, so Zondi crack on dude and be yourself and enjoy this wonderful life that God has given us. As long as we are not going out and destroying lives or doing evil then what's the problem. ![]() |

The problem with it, DUDE, is that there are people out there that play it so often, it becomes real to them, and then they think it's okay, and they go out and start doing EXACTLY what they played in the game.

I Corinthians 13 1 - If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 - If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 - And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. 4 - Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 - does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 - does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 - bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
