Hi Brian and all

In light of GAs post , its unfortunate that the thread digressed into a one to one discussion with out (im sure )the intent to overlook the topic.

Alas this happens often when alternatives are shared , just how many times do thread go off in tangents.,,as a moderator elsewhere , it does happen Often ,fortunately we split threads when we see this happening not to polute the orignal topic...

It looked like Brian came to the defence of Molly and for sure dont take it personally by the interuption..it really is not mine to determine his Motive or intent...

Blessings ALL

Taffy

Hello..

Since your father doesn't believe in God,, it probably won't matter to him, whether he goes or not..

Your father also sounds like a good man,, who enjoys helping the less fortunate, which means he has a good heart....

As long as he has a good heart and is an honest man,, thats all that matters...

Peace Out

Knifeman

I will not tell you to stop listening to your pastor, but tell you to be a good workman of the Word, taking upon yourself the responsibility and accountability to test all things to ensure it comes from the Spirit of God. Study and show yourself approved by God and seek the Truth so you do not justify all things as, "My pastor told me...."; but rather "the Spirit in presense of two or more credible witnesses has confirmed in me...". Do this and you have past from the milk and to the meat becoming a teacher yourself.

In Grace and Truth,
GA

Is this right? What is the biblical definition of 'credible'?

One is not good enough, anyway. So it has to be two?

What if two say OK, but someone else says nay. Or three say nay. Does it still count?

Is this a vote?

These are genuine questions.
