Scrapbooking, reading, photography, playing with my kids...

Does shopping count as a hobby? :P

Learning languages (sorry, I'm boring) playing chess, reading, writing, and excercise. Weights and cardio.

Oh, and eating too. You get hungry doing so much excercise!

Bible reading is not really a hobby, it's turned into a compulsion.

To celebrate my 45th birthday in January, to get fit, and to chill away from ongoing family problems, I started going to a bellydancing class. Great fun!! I have always been an avid reader of whodunnits too.

I like whodunnits. Have you read the historical "Brother Bartholemew" series by Sarah Gregory? A monk living in Cambridge in the plague years, sleuthing away.

My best Hobby is riding a Horse! To get up on its back and ride like the wind. Bare back foresure. I would take the time to talk too my Jesus, and sing worship songs, as the birds sang with me. Get off the Horse for a few min'ts and sit in the long grasses, touching it smelling Gods gifts, the flowers, and just praising him for a wonderful life. Just a simple hobby, nothing to tough. Just me my God, and the Horse.

Hee hee, that sounds like me and my bike! (Who is called Bessie by the way...) I wonder if I have ever been overheard as I hurtle joyfully down a hill singing gibberish praise songs? You can imagine the reaction from pedestrians as the rattle trap bike and the big paddy whizz by singing... "Who was that mad woman???"

I used to fly model airplanes but that is out for me now so I build computers and trouble shoot small networks but my passion is restoring or building custom photographs. When my son-in-law, Freddy, passed. due to a bleed in his brain stem, I built a photo of him with oval images imposed around the parameter of the things that mattered most in his life, wife, mother, father, him hunting from his wheel chair and so on. I'm trying to get a small side line doig these sort of pics and restoring old photos for others because the shops charge such ridiculous amounts for the services and it is so easy to do.

Bill, that is wonderful to hear what you are doing. I love reading and listening to classical & Christian music.

Miss Joy,
Don't think I'm upset because I'm not but when I say Freddy passed I mean to say that he is in Heaven, waiting for my daughter and the rest of us to catch up. Freddy lived to be in his late thirties, which is rare for a Hemophiliac. He had a brain stem bleed that killed him and since he sold completely out to our LORD I know where he is. I loved him more than my own sons because he never was afraid to get in my face when he thought I was wrong. He was tied to a wheel chair but he was never afraid of anything, he is a man's man.
