Hello all,

I received word yesterday that four articles I had written and submitted a year or so ago were chosen for inclusion in two planned anthologies in a Regal Book series for Moms and Dads.

God has been good. I've written stories for ten children's textbooks, hundreds of content (shost written) articles and most recently had a story included in a Bethany House book called Embrace of a Father.

All I can say is - my real name isn't Benji.

Congrats! Do you write for a living or is this just something you do in your spare time?

I write too, and I used to take on every assignment which came my way. One day I decided to only write things I'm passionate about, and guess what? God provided plenty of work, much more than I had before! Yep, God is good!

This is how it's been for me, too. I had become *so* ... what's a good word? Maybe "obsessed" with working and making sure there's enough money for the *lean* months that I ended up burning myself out *totally* with the writing. I write all kinds of things from journalistic commentary to food and travel, parenting, inspiration, and a few other things. BUT those things ARE my passions... if I'd try something else just to pay bills, I'd be in a rut real fast, I'm afraid.
