Ok...something a bit on the lighter side...before I start a thread I need to flush out interest...any car people here on ITPOG?

Me I love cars. My interest has waned in them in the past months though as I have become more interested in computers etc. But what area of cars do you mean? Racing, models, kits, etc?

I was thinking cars in general..I hope someday to re-build an old car or truck when my boys are driving age. Love cars from the 1940's to mid-1960's, street rods and muscle cars especially. Anything with a V-8 and a sweet power to weight ratio.

Since a real car is not in the budget right now I'm picking up model cars...my first is a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. I like racing too, NASCAR primarily...

Well I'm more into GT racing and sometimes F1. I'm more of a classic Ferrari to Aston Martin man myself. Anything from a Ferrari 250 GTO (Google it ) to a Aston Martin DB9S. Now that Hamilton is doing well in F1 I've gained interest.

I'm planning once I'm older and actually able to drive to build a kit car to go to track days etc. Something like an Ariel Atom (again Google it )
