Default Frothy coffee creamer

Does anyone have a recipe for frothy coffee creamer. You know, you make an ordinary cup of coffee and then put a spoon or two of the coffee creamer in, stir it up and you have a nice frothy cuppa!

We used to get a really nice one in SA but suddenly it is gone from the shelves! It was so popular! Now all we have is a whitener!

No, but I would think that if you whipped the cream before you put it in (would need to use a liquid form), you might get some froth.

Yeah that would work, but I'm looking for a powder form that I could mix up and put in with a tea spoon.

Could you write the company that made the product and see if they still make it? If so, you could find out where it's sold or worse case scenario you could buy it in quantity and have it shipped to you. If there are enough people of your acquaintence who were fans of the product, you could all chip in and the cost wouldn't be as prohibitive.

Just a thought -

It was made by Nestle and they still advertise it!! I work in the packaging industry and by the look of it this product is imported. It was also VERY expensive. So I was thinking that one of you brilliant people out there might have a recipe for it. Then I could just buy the ingredients, mix it together and voila!

So - what was the name of the product? Maybe I can look it up and e-mail Nestle. I don't think they'll give me the recipe but I can try to figure it out.

Hey there, Dave -

I looked it up on and can't find the ingredients listed anywhere. I DID however see a Coffee Mate Latte that is marketed here in the US. I'll take a look at a lable the next time I'm in he grocery store and see what I can see.

For what it's worth, I also e-mailed Nestle (a Swiss Company) and told them they had a South African fan of their product and he was no longer able to buy it. Is there a reason? - We'll see what happens...

Thanks V. You're a star.
The Nestle factory in SA is about 180 Kms from me, I have been to the factory and they make everything except this creamer! I didn't think to ask them about it at that time though.

Default Creamy coffee!?

Hi Dave...

Have you tried the new Instant Cappuccino!? Both Nestlè & Cadbury's (I think!?) make it! (or you looking for a cheaper alternative!?)
I'm presuming you've tried all the different "creamers"!? I can't remember which one i prefered, but i think Ellis Brown is creamier than the others!?

Alternatively...did you ever see the DSTV "Secretaries day" advert!?
...off the point a little i know...but it sure will put you off the desire for "frothy coffee"!
