Default Hello Christians

Hey there brothers and sisters.

So happy to have found a place like this where i can be amongst my bretherin.

My name is Samuel, and i chose the name "Street Pastor" as that what i do here in England. I spread the word of God to those that need it most, in the run-down parts of town. Helping fellows away from drugs and into the warm embrace of the Lord Amen.

Look forward to meeting you in an online sense and talking about the one power that unites us all.

Samuel x

Welcome!

I have a lot of respect for "street preachers". I was personally amazed by one in Chicago who went into the worst neighborhoods to offer help to others in the middle of the night. It was a place where we didn't ever go alone, but there he was, all alone, doing the Lord's work.
Hope you enjoy the forum, it has gotten very diverse. It slowed down recently, but I have a feeling that is very temporary.

Blessings

Thats a funny statement to make.. as its basically saying you know what a christian is according to what???

Again this is just labelling.. according to your own external teaching, beliefs and world view

Yes the forum is very different to how i rememeber it. I used to view the forum when working in Eastern Europe with the family i was staying with and at the time the forum was completely Christian, and there was a close knit circle of believers such as Mr Jeff Mills.

As for the street work, im not so much a preacher as a messenger of god. Like jesus. But yes, some of the places i visit are not what one would call safe or hospitable. I carry a gun, but i would only ever fire if told to do so by God.

I like that " Completely Christian "

How do you know it was?, was it because the certain crowd you chatted too matched your christianity...

Again its all Perception!

LOL I carry a gun but would not use it unless told to do so by GOD lol..

I can see it now.. in court

" Oh my see my Honor, i am not guilty beacause God told me " lol

Judge.... How many times have i heard that excuse.. please throw his ass in jail... lol

Isn't this how we interact with everything in the world? When I was in Italy, I visited Naples and they called themselves Italian. They called the northern inhabitants of Italy German. When I was in Venice, I spoke to people who told me that people from Naples were Sicilian, not Italian. They all were Italian, yet none of them were.

Essentially, What I'm getting at is that people will always separate groups from within the larger group. I don't like it, but that's not going to change it alone. What is going to change it is open discussion. We have to allow for the fact that we are one Body, but each a different part. All parts do not have to agree completely, as long as they are not in opposition. The thigh need not be aware of the shoulder. But if a seemingly insignificant part of the human body is taken away, the whole body becomes less effective. So it is with the Body of Christ. If members work in opposition to one another, it is as if one leg goes one way and an arm goes another.
We need to not compare ourselves to others, we should use our different gifts, together, to share the good news of Jesus Christ, realizing the body of Christ is incomplete if we all are not involved and working together for the sake of Christ. This starts with dialogue, not accusation.

Blessings
