Thousand Foot Krutch - The Flame in All of Us

The CD
Thousand Foot Krutch returns with their latest album The Flame In All Of Us (Tooth and Nail Records 2007), their forth major label release since the bands inception in 1997. Like past albums, Thousand Foot Krutch brings a passion and excitement to each and every song. The CD contains twelve tracks (track listing below). The DVD that comes with the special edition contains a of couple videos, the making of The Flame In All Of Us, as well as, a look into TFK touring. It’s pretty interesting stuff but rather short lived.

The actual music on the CD is fabulous and typical TFK. Notable songs include My Home, Falls Apart, Favorite Disease and the hard rockin Inhuman. My Home, which has been described as TFK’s first ’love’ song, is a song written by Trevor for his wife. It’s one of the best on the album. Falls Apart was the first radio track that was released off the album so most Christian radio fans will find that one familiar from the start. Inhuman is pure hard rock and one I look forward to hearing in concert this fall.

Tracks:
1. The Flame In All Of Us
2. Falls Apart
3. New Drug
4. What Do We Know?
5. Favorite Disease
6. My Home
7. My Own Enemy
8. Learn To Breathe
9. Inhuman
10. Broken Wing
11. The Safest Place
12. Wish You Well

Final Recommendation

The Flame In All Of Us is a strong album from Thousand Foot Krutch featuring some of the best raw music I have heard from the band. They continue to write and perform fabulous music and live up to the high standards they have created with their past efforts. I personally feel this is one of the best rock albums of 2007, worthy of your attention.

Thousand Foot Krutch is Trevor Mcnevan (vocals), Joel Bruyere (bass) and Steve Augustine (drums)
