(Nashville, TN) March 3, 2006 — sixstepsrecords will release their ninth Passion project, Passion: Everything Glorious, April 4. Following eight critically acclaimed Passion recordings that have sold well over one million units, the highly anticipated CD features brand new music recorded live from the main stage at the Passion 06 gathering held Jan. 2-5 in Nashville, TN.

Passion: Everything Glorious combines the amazing voices and songwriting of Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman and Charlie Hall, among others, joined by the voices of the 18,000 in attendance. The four-day indoor gathering for college students opened January 2 at full conference capacity with students representing all 50 states, 20 countries. Appearing on the album are four exclusive songs that will only be heard on Passion: Everything Glorious. Exclusive songs include “Glorious” and “Party” from Chris Tomlin, “Everything Glorious” from David Crowder Band, and Matt Redman’s “You Never Let Go.” (See full track list below)

Early mixes from Passion 06 of David Crowder Band’s “You Are My Joy” and Kristian Stanfill singing “Salvation is Here,” plus a teaching by Louie Giglio, “Passion, Purpose and Designer Jeans,” are already gaining acclaim at www.iTunes.com.  Entitled Passion: The Early Session 01, the bundle became an iTunes best seller landing at No. 5 on the overall chart for Top 100 Albums at the end of January, among such top sellers as Yellowcard, POD and James Blunt.  The second iTunes bundle, Passion 06: early session 02, released February 21 and features Chris Tomlin’s new “Made To Worship” and acoustic version of Charlie Hall’s “Center” from the opening evening of the gathering, as well as another teaching from Giglio entitled “Satisfied.”

Passion will release a two-disc DVD set featuring seven hours of live footage from Passion 06 in June 2006. Additional details on this DVD are coming soon.

Registration for Passion 07 opened March 1 at noon EST to a flood of 1000 registrations within the first eight-and-a-half minutes.  In less than one hour, over 2200 students from across the US, Canada and beyond staked their place at the upcoming gathering.  Passion 07 will be held January 1-4, 2007 in Atlanta.  The artist worshipers mentioned above, as well as renowned speakers Louie Giglio, John Piper and Beth Moore, among others, are scheduled to lead the gathering.  More details are forthcoming.  To register for the gathering, please visit www.268generation.com.
