Acclaimed fingerstyle guitarist Muriel Anderson has been selected as the "Artist of the Week" by the Tennessee Arts Commission. This week, the Tennessee Arts Online newsletter is featuring Anderson along with art-related state and regional news. The Tennessee Arts Commission’s weekly e-mail newsletter, Tennessee Arts Online, selects an Artist of the Week for each issue. These artists may be performing artists or visual artists, and they are selected based on their contribution to the arts in Tennessee. Those selected have made significant contributions to the arts and have brought recognition and attention to the arts in the State of Tennessee.
Looks like August 31st 2006 will see a coast to coast tour by Starfield ( one I will be getting out to for sure, these guys rock )
This is The Beauty in the Broken Tour. No details as of yet of where but prices will be around $10
Robin Mark and band will be playing this coming august 5th 2006 at 7:00 pm at Emmanual baptist church , 4120 salem road. more details at uniteproductions
