I thought my tv was small and then I saw this, how far are they going to go with television size? Before long you will need to buy a new house to fit your tv.

Im not one for large tvs though I wouldnt turn one down if someone offered

This is hitachi new flat screen plasma 85 inch tv. They say by March 2011 plasma tvs will be extremely popular and will be the norm., So what growth are we talking about? Well currently they say there is around 28.5 million units being shipped per year and they expect that to increase to 110 million units by 2011 per year

There is not a huge amount of information circling around about this mammoth size entertainment set but apparently it is going to be similar to the 1080p model.

Is it possible Fujitsu who have opened a new plant for creating plasma teles will try and fly past hibachi in this market?
