David Gate originally is from the UK he began in Harrow, London where he emerged through Soul Survivor Harrow. Encourged by other prominent worship leaders such as Matt Redman he spent a year studying theology before heading to Soul Survivor Watford in 2001 ( where matt is from ).
In October 2002 he got married to Emilie and in the Summer of 2003 they movied to Northern Ireland where they belong to the Willowfield Parish Church in Belfast. His songs have had quite an impact on peoples lives including mine, he probably isn’t aware of that.. but they have. Beyond that they have been sung at places such as worship together, Soul survivor, new wine and summer madness.
I have had Davids album Redemption now for many years, living in Canada I had to order it all the way from the UK.. and im going to have to do the same for his new album.
Anyway here are David Gates Albums be sure to keep an eye out for more music coming from dave, after listening to his music and reading the lyrics you will see that this is one guy after Gods Heart!
If you like the type of songs that Matt Redman, Tim Hughes have released you probably will want to listen to this.

Redemption – Listen to a Sample
David Gate’s First album was produced by none other than Paul Burton ( Delirious former sound guy ) and the songs could be compared to the sounds of Cold Play, especially on the track called Lord Have your way. Led to the lost ended up being the name they chose for one of the soul survivor events, which was kind of neat.
01 Draw me near
02 King of glory
03 Be still
04 Praises (at the foot of the cross)
05 Lord have your way
06 Led to the lost
07 Redemption hymn
