Praise Awaits You Tab and Lyrics by Matt Redman

Matt Redman song Praise Awaits you Lyrics and Tablature from the album and dvd Face Down which is terrific. This is a real upbeat praise song and would be good to do in a church setting. The song is in B and on the dvd he plays it without a capo but if you want you can put a capo on 2nd fret and play chords

B5 – 024400
E -022100
F# – 244000
G#M – 46600
Strange B  014400
B/G# – 404400

The Walk Down is like B, Strange B shape, B/G#, F#

Praise Awaits You Chords and Words

B                                                                    (do the walkdown)
Praise Awaits you in this place today oh Lord
B
We are gathered, ready, God, to sing Your praise

F#                                 E
Ready to respond to the glories of Your name
F#
To the wonders of Your heart
     E
To Your great love

Chorus:
B           E              F#            B
Praise is waiting for You in this place
              E               F#             G#m
There’s a cry that our spirits will make
          F#           E
As we see Your glory
B          E                F#           B
To your mercies our souls will awake
               E               F#               G#m
And we’ll sing ’til the break of the day
              F#         E
Because You are worthy

Yes Lord!   ( do the walkdown )

Below is the same as above…. verse and bridge bit..

Seasons come and seasons go but You remain
So unchanging, all-deserving of our praise
We’re ready to respond to the glories of Your name
To the wonders of Your heart
To Your great love

We’re ready to respond
To the glories of your name
To the wonders of Your heart
To Your great love

This tab is completly wrong! If there is a capo on the 2nd fret then you would play an A2 shape not a b! So with the capo the walkdown goes A2, E, F#, D
