Came across a course on DVD called Worship Guitar that is being offered through worshiptogether, besides it covering many of the basics and more advanced know how concerning playing guitar it has interviews with worship leaders today and you can learn from them. I might buy it myself and then do a review of it. It costs $74.99 for the whole set.

I’ve bought the dvd’s a few months back and I think their nothing short of fantastic. If your stuck with chords at the end of the neck or the standard A and E based power chords, this will give you exactly what you need to help open up the entire neck of your guitar. It’s also very good at giving you some improvisation ideas and knowing where to start. I’d highly recommend it.
