When it comes to Song Writing you see a whole range of songs out there and emerging.

You hear songs which are

Our Response to God
Our Requests to God
Our Focus on God
Out Focus on What he Has Done
What he is Doing
What he is going to do.

For those who you who are writing songs, think about the scripture

Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

Can you write songs which speak Life over people, which call people into action, which cause people to see that all they need is found at the Feet of Jesus and In Jesus.

As you sit down to worship at home, consider how you could weave in words of life into your songs.

These songs may not be ones which say

" God do this"
" I need this "
" God you are this "
" I was this "

They may be songs which are

" Come find Joy "
" Come find Peace"
" Rest"
"Be Renewed"
" Drink"

Give some thoughts to these today.
