Gibson has announced that they are re releasing a classic guitar which doesnt cost too much either called the Melody Maker guitar for only $350 which is sweet.. so whats the scoop on this axe?
Well the guitar originally was available in the 50s called the Melody Maker mainly geared towards students, now the new release will be like the old it will feature a single coil pickup in a period correct pickguard, the body of the guitar will be made out of a slim mahogany and it will sport a vintage wraparound style tailpiece
The whole thing is being built in Nashville TN, so for all you USA guitar enthusiasts who just have to have an american made guitar.. here you go.
Some of the other notable features are that it will be available in variety of colors like Ebony, Sunburst, and White satin. It will have white button tuning machines, single volume and tone controls, up to 22 frets with dot inlays and a rosewood fretboard
