This is one gorgeous guitar by Gibson it is called the " Melody Maker " it is a recreation of the original melody maker guitars that were created back in the 1950s. The originals were built to be student models, at that time it became a real favorite due to it’s light weight, how comfortable the neck was to hold and play and of course the ton and crunch you got from this sucker.
Today they have done their best to create an accurate model of the ’50s version using one single coil pickup, one volume and one tone control. The pickguard that you see on it is based on the same period, it has a nice vintage style body made out of Mahogany, the fretboard is made out of rosewood. All the hardware is chrome.
It comes in a variety of colors yet this one is the most popular. There is Satin White, Satin Ebony and this the Satin Vintage Sunburst.
