Gibson Firebird V Zebra Guitar of the Week #12

Gibson Firebird V Zebra WoodHere is gibsons choice for week 12 of their guitar of the week series they have been running. It is called the firebird V Zebra Wood and its a beauty. Im not usually into the whole flying Vs but this one really caught my eye, maybe because of the wood look to it. The neck is made of nine ply walnut and mahogany wood.

Some of the features on this guitar are the 1960 slim taper neck which goes up to 24 3/4 frets. It usues tune o matic bridge, black top hat knobs and firebird tuning machines.

The pickups are unique in that they are high output ceramic mini humbuckers all of which can be controlled by the 3 way pick up system and the dual volume and tone controls.

Only 400 of these will be made and I dont expect them to be cheap!
