Here is what has been announced as Gibson guitar of the week and it looks as though its another flying V, this is the new explorer pro in heritage cherry.

Ok so this is original designed based on a Gibson Classic Explorer but the major differences are that this one is a lot smaller, the body is made out of a lighter mahogany wood, it is stocked up with heavy duty hot humbuckers and finished off with a nice Heritage Cherry.

There are a Lacquer finish.There are number of other features such as the Rosewood fretboard which goes up to 22 frets, antique top and binding, top hat knobs, 500T ceramic magnet humbucker at the rear of the guitar and a 496R at the neck. Comes with Dual volume controlas and one single tone control, 3 way pickup.

They are going to be shipping 400 of these, each will come with a reptile skin case and the inside will be a nice bright white.
