Can I say, for the record, that worship is not boring? In fact, it’s the very reason we were born and the very act that keeps us truly alive in a world that only worships itself. It’s the most exciting thing we can do while we’re here on earth and the only thing we will take from this life into heaven. We should celebrate God with all that we are. A human being who doesn’t give themselves in praise and adoration to Jesus is not really alive but merely skin and bones passing through this world on the way to hell. So to worship God-the one who birthed us, who named us, who called us from darkness, who adores us-is actually what we’re on the earth to do, first and foremost. It’s to daily be in love with Jesus-in love with who He is, in love with what He loves and what His heart breaks for."
